Dausgaard is renowned for his creativity and innovation in programming, and his extensive catalogue of critically-acclaimed recordings. He is passionate about music’s engagement with society and the issues of our time, and its relevance and potential as a vital and innovative force in our lives.
As a guest conductor, Dausgaard maintains close connections with the world’s leading orchestras including the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, the Vienna and Bavarian Radio Symphonies, Toronto Symphony and the Bergen Philharmonic with whom he is recording a Bruckner cycle. He has also appeared with the New York, Los Angeles, Munich and St Petersburg Philharmonics, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Cleveland and Philadelphia Orchestras, the London Symphony and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, and regularly at prestigious festivals, notably the BBC Proms, the Edinburgh International Festival, the Salzburg Festival, Mostly Mozart, the George Enescu Festival, and Tanglewood.

His splendid talent attracted a lot of attention of people and musicians surrounding him since his early childhood, and after 9 years old he won the first prizes in all the contests in which he participated including the 74th Music Competition of Japan.
Miyata played concertos with domestic and foreign various orchestras such as Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris and Sinfonietta Frankfurt.
And he is active in holding solo concerts, recital and chamber music with world famous musicians; Lynn Harrell, Gidon Kremer, Yurii Bashmet, Maxim Vengerov, Augustin Dumay and Eliahu Inbal.
