Symphonic highlights of the 2023/24 season include Berglund’s debuts with Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Berner Symphonieorchester, Orchestre National de Lyon, Philharmonia Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Dresdner Philharmonie, Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, Musikkollegium Winterthur, and Grafenegg Festival where she reunites with Tonkünstler Orchester Nieder öösterreich ahead of further performances in 23/24. Working together again with Philharmonia Orchestra, Berglund makes her Garsington Opera debut conducting Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro. Other return highlights during the season include her final concerts as Principal Guest of Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, as well as engagements with Orquesta Sinfóónica de Tenerife, Trondheim Symfoniorkester and Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra.
Previous season highlights include Berglund’s US debut with Detroit Symphony Orchestra as well as engagements with Bergen Philharmonic, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic and Finnish Radio Symphony orchestras, Luzerner Symphonieorchester, Sinfonieorchester Wuppertal, Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de CatalunyaCatalunya, Hallé, Royal Scottish National Orchestra and Tapiola Sinfonietta, among others.
Berglund’s debut CD, on which she conducts the Oslo Philharmonic with violinist Sonoko Miriam Welde, was released in 2021 (LAWO) and subsequently nominated for a Norwegian Grammy (Spellemann) in the 2022 Classical Music category.

He won the Steinway Prize in 1995, the Grieg Prize in 1996, the Sibelius Prize in 2004, Norwegian Critics Prize for his performances of Beethoven’s Cello Sonatas with Truls Mörk at the 2011 Bergen International Festival, and just some months ago the “Lindeman Prize” which is considered to be the most important musical award in Norway.
In the Nordic countries, Håvard has performed as a concerto soloist with nearly all the major Scandinavian orchestras. Further afield he has performed with the Baltimore, the Atlanta, and City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestras, with the Royal Philharmonic in London and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestras, plus now recently with the Hallè Orchestra, the Tokyo Philharmonic, Prague Symphony, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Frankfurt Radio and Belgian National Philharmonic Orchestras.
