NOTICE of change of Speaker in Subscription Concert No.994 B Series and TMSO Special(2/17)

News

Due to unavoidable circumstances, Judith Pisar and Leah Pisar are unable to come to Japan. American actor Jaye Ladymore will replace them as speaker.
The text of the narration will be changed from the Samuel Pisar version (which only Judith and Leah are permitted to narrate) to the original version.

Jaye Ladymore is excited to make her debut with the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. She has previously performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Marin Alsop at the internationally renowned Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL. Ms. Ladymore has performed on numerous regional stages across the US, namely the Goodman Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre and Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago and American Players Theater in Wisconsin. She received the 2019 Black Theatre Alliance Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her work at TimeLine Theatre, an honor for which she is extremely grateful. In addition to performing on stage, Ms. Ladymore has appeared in multiple TV shows like Empire, Chicago Med, Chicago PD, The Chi and Proven Innocent. She garnered a series regular role on the hit show The 4400 in 2021 and has enjoyed featured roles in the movies An Acceptable Loss and Killing Eleanor. Jaye is a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA. She is represented by Stewart Talent.
